Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that Turkey remains committed to contributing to the achievement of peace in the world, while highlighting cooperation with US President Donald Trump on key international issues.
After the bilateral meeting with Trump, Erdogan said the two leaders are determined to take concrete steps in the service of peace.

“My colleagues and I are working together to take a step forward toward world peace, doing everything in our power. With my dear friend Donald Trump, we emphasized the importance of this leaders’ summit for achieving peace in Gaza,” Erdogan said.
He also announced that the latest developments in the war between Russia and Ukraine would be included in the talks with Trump.
“I will also discuss the developments between Russia and Ukraine with my esteemed friend, and we will take the necessary steps,” Erdogan said.
These statements by the Turkish president come at a time when diplomatic efforts for a ceasefire and for resolving the conflicts in Gaza and Ukraine remain the focus of the international community.
