Eno Agasi, wanted over the disappearance of wine seized by SPAK, arrested

After eight months on the run, Eno Agasi, the cousin of Ergys Agasi, has been arrested. Ergys Agasi is accused of leading a criminal group operating within AKSHI.

The Tirana Court had ordered Eno Agasi to be held in pretrial detention. He had been declared wanted over the disappearance of expensive bottles of wine seized by SPAK in December 2025, when his cousin was also declared wanted.

After the inventory was completed, the wine was left at the winery because customs officials could not transport it at night. When employees returned the following day to collect it, they discovered that the bottles had been removed.

Eno Agasi is under investigation for money laundering and actions aimed at obstructing efforts to uncover the truth.

Ergys Agasi was also arrested a few weeks ago. The charges against him relate to serious crimes committed as part of a criminal group operating within the National Agency for Information Society.

The investigation was reportedly conducted by prosecutor Bledar Valikaj. He had previously referred the case against Ergys Agasi to SPAK, while continuing the investigation into his cousin.
