Drone attacks in the Black Sea, Russia claims three vessels carrying military equipment for Ukraine were damaged

Three cargo ships in the Black Sea were hit by Russian drones, according to Russia’s Ministry of Defense, which claims they were transporting military equipment for the Ukrainian armed forces.

The ministry said the attacks caused damage to three commercial vessels. The official statement said the ships that were hit were carrying military equipment.

Moscow said that one of the vessels was in the port of Mykolaiv and, according to Russian claims, was transporting supplies for the Ukrainian military.

During the night, Russian forces also continued attacks on transport infrastructure in Ukraine. According to Russia’s Ministry of Defense, the strikes targeted facilities used to support Ukrainian military operations.

Ukrainian authorities have not yet responded to Moscow’s claims or the reported damage to the ships.
