Donald Trump Is First to Share Photo of J.D. Vance’s Newborn Son, Alec Neal

J.D. Vance, the vice president of the United States, and his wife, Usha Vance, have welcomed their fourth child.

The couple’s son, named Alec Neal, was born over the weekend.

Of particular note was the fact that the first image of the baby was shared not by his parents, but by US President Donald Trump.

Trump posted the photo on his Truth Social platform and introduced the newborn to the public, describing him as “a perfect little boy.”

In the image, Alec Neal is in the maternity ward at Walter Reed Military Hospital alongside two of his older siblings. J.D. Vance and Usha Vance do not appear in the photograph. This prompted reactions on social media because the president was the first to make the baby’s image public.

It was later confirmed that Usha Vance gave birth to the boy on Sunday at Walter Reed Medical Center in Maryland. The US vice president himself announced his arrival.

Following Alec Neal’s birth, the Vance family now has four children. J.D. and Usha Vance, who have been married since 2014, are also parents to Ewan, 9, Vivek, 6, and Mirabelle, 4.
