Diamant Hysenaj alongside Bruce Blakeman: Together for a stronger Albanian community and a safer New York

An important development for the Albanian-American community has brought together at the same table Diamant Hysenaj, the first Albanian to run for the U.S. Congress in the 14th District, which includes New York, the Bronx and Queens, and Bruce Blakeman, the candidate for governor of New York.

Their partnership aims to bring change, economic relief and direct support to families and businesses.

Bruce Blakeman said residents are facing high taxes, unaffordable energy costs and public safety problems. He said that, together with Hysenaj, they would work to reduce taxes, cut energy and water bills in half, and strengthen safety in communities.

Diamant Hysenaj described this support as important for the Albanian diaspora. According to him, citizens need leaders who understand their difficulties firsthand, while this partnership gives Albanian representation a stronger voice at the highest levels of government in the United States.

Diamant Hysenaj: Hello! I am Diamant Hysenaj, a candidate for the U.S. Congress in the 14th District, in the Bronx and Queens. Today I am with Bruce Blakeman, the candidate to become the next governor of New York. Thank you!

Bruce Blakeman: Thank you very much. My Albanian-American friends constantly tell me about high taxes, unjustifiable service costs and the lack of safety in our communities. Therefore, together we will work to lower taxes, cut service bills in half and build safer communities, right?

Diamant Hysenaj: Yes, Mr. Bruce. God bless you. Albanians pay very high taxes, and energy is extremely expensive. Our families and the entire Albanian community need a leader, a governor of New York who will help them. Bruce, we have that person on our side!

Bruce Blakeman: And we will also have a new congressman!

Diamant Hysenaj: Yes, sir. Let’s get started!
