Daut Haradinaj has reacted to the decision by the Special Court, which sentenced former KLA leaders to a total of 81 years in prison.

In a Facebook post, Haradinaj called on Kosovo and its institutions to take immediate measures regarding the way, in his view, this political court has treated those who fought for the country’s freedom.
He stressed that the pursuit of justice would continue until full justice was achieved and until they were cleared of every charge.
Haradinaj said that the KLA was blameless and that its war had been a liberation war, adding that no court could condemn the liberation spirit.
According to him, silence could no longer be accepted, and Kosovo’s institutions must respond and take every action necessary to protect justice and the dignity of KLA fighters.
“To the end. Until justice,” he wrote, expressing his support for the four men who are there and for every KLA soldier.
