An 18-year-old was stabbed during a serious incident in the District 8 neighborhood of the city of Korçë.
Preliminary information indicates that the young man arrived at the hospital emergency room with head injuries. He is in intensive care, where he is being treated by medical staff.

The stabbing is suspected to have followed a conflict between the young man and his stepfather, who is believed to have subsequently stabbed him.
Police have apprehended and arrested Niko Baka, 37, as the suspected perpetrator of the attack.
Meanwhile, the investigative team is working to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident and document the legal responsibilities.
