CMC: Of 11 outdoor fires, two remain active and eight have been extinguished

The Crisis Management Center announced that a total of 11 outdoor fires were recorded during the day. Of these, eight were extinguished, one was brought under control, while two remain active.

Data collected by 6:00 p.m. show that one of the active fires is near the village of Rapeš, in the Municipality of Novaci, where the flames have engulfed low vegetation. The other fire was recorded near the village of Govrlevo, in the Municipality of Sopište, and has affected low vegetation and scrubland.

Meanwhile, the fire along the trail connecting the village of Belica, in the Municipality of Makedonski Brod, with the Jasen locality, in the Municipality of Sopište, has been brought under control. Mixed forests and scrubland have been affected in this area.

The eight fires extinguished during the day were in open areas. They were recorded near the village of Raović, in the Municipality of Saraj; on Alpi and Boro Menkov streets, in the Municipality of Butel; near the village of Mralino, in the Municipality of Ilinden; between the villages of Ednokukjevo and Monospitovo, in the Municipality of Bosilovo; on Vera Ciriviri Street in Veles; and near the villages of Vranište and Misleševo, in the Struga region.
