CMC introduces new emergency app with location, photo and video sharing

The director of the Crisis Management Center (CMC), Muhamet Ali, announced that citizens will soon have access to the new “Where Are You?” app, which is intended to speed up and simplify communication with the 112 service during emergency situations.

Through this app, users will be able to share their exact location, as well as send photos and videos from the scene. It will also offer the possibility of direct video communication with the Operations Center.

Another new feature to be included is the “Silent Call” function, designed for victims of domestic violence and people in danger, so they can seek help silently and safely, without being forced to speak.

According to the CMC, the inclusion of these new features is part of the continued modernization of the 112 system, with the aim of increasing citizens’ safety, enabling more accurate transmission of information, and ensuring a more efficient response from the competent services in emergency situations./Telegrafi/
