CMC: 42 Fires Extinguished by 7:30 a.m., Five Remain Active

The Crisis Management Center (CMC) announced that, as of 7:30 a.m., 51 outdoor fires had been recorded across the country. Of these, 42 have been extinguished, four have been brought under control, and five remain active.

The active fires are located above the village of Moranë; in the area between Vrtekica and Gaber in the Municipality of Studeniçan, where the flames have engulfed mixed forest; and near the village of Old Baldovc in the Municipality of Bosilovë, where low vegetation and reeds are burning. There are also fires near the village of Makovë in the Municipality of Novaci, near the village of Muzdivnjak in the Municipality of Kriva Pallankë, and in the area of the village of Loznan in the Municipality of Mogillë, where areas of low vegetation have been affected.

The four contained fires are the one at the municipal landfill in Dellçevë, the fire in Novo Sellë on Mount Ograzhden, the fire in the village of Manastirsko Dolenci in the Municipality of Kërçovë, and the one in the village of Kopanicë in the Municipality of Jegunovc.

Over the past 24 hours, teams have extinguished 42 fires at various locations across the country. The municipalities where interventions were carried out include Vrapçisht, Gostivar, Zhelinë, Jegunovc, Tetovë, Dellçevë, Probishtip, Shtip, Dibër, Debarcë, Kërçovë, Resnjë, Prilep, Krivogashtan, Manastir, Ilinden, Gazi Babë, Kisella Vodë, Çair, Zelenikovë, Saraj, Gjorçe Petrov, Shuto Orizarë, Makedonski Brod, Kumanovë, Tearcë, Qendër Zhupë, Novaci, Dollneni and Likovë.
