On Thursday, the Secretary of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Vlora Çitaku, held a meeting with Dr. Anton Hofreiter, chairman of the Committee on European Union Affairs in the German Bundestag, and the delegation accompanying him.

The discussion focused on the current political situation in Kosovo, the progress of Euro-Atlantic integration, and the need for the country to join international organizations.
An important part of the discussion was also devoted to Kosovo’s membership in the Council of Europe, which is one of the priorities of its international agenda.
Çitaku said that Kosovo is going through a challenging period and called on Germany to show greater commitment and attention in support of the country.
She also underscored the need to preserve close cooperation between Kosovo and Germany, with the aim of advancing Euro-Atlantic processes and consolidating Kosovo’s international standing.
