BMW brings the electric i3 to the European market earlier due to high demand

BMW has officially brought the new i3 model to Europe several months ahead of the schedule set out in its original plans.

Strong interest in this car has pushed the luxury automaker to speed up the market launch of the electric sedan, which had initially been expected to debut in the autumn.

For now, the company is offering this model in an initial variant intended for early buyers.

Although availability is limited at this stage, customers still have the option to personalize the car.

Six exterior colors are available, including the exclusive M Le Castellet Blue shade.

Four wheel design options are also on offer.

For the i3 50 xDrive First Edition, BMW has set the price at 75,340 euros, including features such as the M Sport package, heated seats, a heated steering wheel, tinted rear windows, automatic climate control, as well as a wide range of driver assistance systems.

With the official launch of the i3 this autumn, BMW will also expand the lineup with a base version.

The standard i3 50 xDrive variant will be priced at 65,900 euros. More models are expected to follow in this segment, including the already announced i3 Touring, as well as a highly likely iX4 crossover with coupe styling.
