Berisha to travel to the US on Friday, agenda and accompanying delegation revealed

Sali Berisha is expected to travel to the United States on Friday, where he will stay for 7 days and take part in a series of activities.

One of his main engagements will be attending the Republican National Convention, which will be held in Dallas on September 9 and 10.

During the visit, the leader of the Democratic Party will also hold two meetings with the Albanian community. The first meeting is scheduled to take place in New York on Sunday, the 6th, while the second will be held on Tuesday, the 8th, in Texas.

In addition to these activities, Berisha may also meet with American congressmen and senators, although there has so far been no official announcement regarding these meetings.

The delegation accompanying the Democratic Party leader will consist of the party’s deputy chairman, Belind Këllici; lawmakers Albana Vokshi and Klevis Balliu; Republican Party leader Fatmir Mediu; and the Democratic Party’s Secretary for Foreign Relations, Enri Ceno.

This will be Berisha’s first visit to the United States in nearly 14 years. He last traveled across the Atlantic in 2012, when he was serving as the country’s prime minister.
