Berisha Mocks Rama Over Flamingo T-Shirt: Put Balluku, the Two Lindas, Agaçi, Gysi and Aruba on It, Not Flamingos

During a conversation with citizens on social media, Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha took aim at Prime Minister Edi Rama, focusing on the flamingo-themed T-shirt he wore a few days ago at a meeting in Shkodra. Berisha said Rama “can print drugs, cocaine, but never flamingos” and urged him instead to put the figures of Belinda Balluku, Engjëll Agaçi, Ergys Agasi and “Aruba” on the shirt, linking these names to accusations the opposition has voiced against the government.

“The man who, on the one hand, tries to fight them by other means by printing flamingos on his T-shirt or by placing them on his Facebook, and I tell him he has no moral right to do this, shows immorality with this,” Berisha said.

He continued: “You can print on your T-shirt Lubi Balluku, the two Lindas, Gys Agasi, Engjëll Agaçi, Aruba. You can print drugs, cocaine, but never flamingos.”

According to Berisha, Rama occasionally also displays them in the main photo on his Facebook page, believing that this makes him more friendly with them.

At the end of his statement, Berisha called on the prime minister to step down. “Edi Rama, to conclude, my call is: resign immediately because you are the fiercest enemy of Albanian youth,” he said.

He also added that Rama is arrogant and cynical, accusing him of hating young people and seeking their departure from Albania. For this reason, Berisha stressed that he should resign immediately, because according to him their patience is running out.
