Avni Zogiani comments on Blerim Isufaj’s dismissal: Why are you presenting the cancellation of the arrest warrant for Radojčić as a mystery?

Avni Zogiani, a member of the Vetëvendosje Movement, has reacted to the dismissal of Blerim Isufaj, focusing on the cancellation of the arrest warrant for Milan Radojčić.

According to Zogiani, a trial in this case could have revealed compromising and incriminating information about figures in politics, the media and business.

“Why are you pretending not to understand why Blerim Isufaj cancelled the arrest warrant for Radojčić?! As if it were difficult to connect the dots!” he wrote.

Zogiani also claimed that several people linked to the opposition leadership had cooperated with Radojčić for around two decades.

“It is completely clear that had such a case gone to court, there would have been far too much discrediting and incriminating information about the opposition leadership and even about people in the media and business,” he said.

He further claimed that individuals and companies linked to Radojčić had benefited from considerable sums of money.

“They worked together with Radojčić for twenty years; he was considered the ‘head of the household’ in the northern municipalities of the country! Hundreds of millions were taken by companies and individuals controlled by or linked to Radojčić,” Zogiani wrote.

In his reaction, the Vetëvendosje member also criticized the media and commentators who, according to him, are presenting the cancellation of the arrest warrant as an unclear matter.

“This is known and has been documented, but it is strange how so many commentators and media outlets pretend that the reason for the withdrawal of the indictment is some great mystery!” Zogiani concluded.
