Annie O’Reilly and Kerrie Ann Roëan will no longer be part of the defense team of former President of the Assembly of Kosovo Kadri Veseli at the Specialist Chambers in The Hague, shortly before the start of the appeals proceedings.
According to the Registry Office, Veseli’s lead counsel, Rodney Dixon, decided on October 13 to terminate the contracts of the two lawyers with immediate effect.

Dixon said that O’Reilly and Roëan’s departure would not harm his client’s interests and would not affect the duration of the trial proceedings.
The change in the composition of the defense team comes at a crucial moment in the case, as attention is now focused on the upcoming appeals proceedings.
