Albanian Students from North Macedonia Stand in Solidarity with Kosovo: Demand Justice for Former KLA Leaders

Albanian students from North Macedonia have joined calls for a fair trial for the former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army, ahead of the announcement of the final verdict by the Specialist Chambers in The Hague, which is expected to take place on September 16.

Besjan Rexhepi, a representative of the Union of Albanian Students in North Macedonia, expressed his support for the students of Kosovo and called for the process to be conducted fairly, transparently and impartially.

According to Rexhepi, judicial decisions must be based solely on evidence and facts, without political interference or the application of double standards.

“As Albanian students in North Macedonia, we stand in solidarity with the students of Kosovo and offer our full support for a fair, transparent and impartial judicial process. We are convinced that justice must be guided solely by facts and evidence, without political influence or double standards. As the younger generation, we demand justice, equality and respect for the fundamental rights of every individual,” Rexhepi declared.

During this process, Hashim Thaçi, Rexhep Selimi, Jakup Krasniqi and Kadri Veseli have denied the charges of war crimes and crimes against humanity, pleading not guilty. /Telegrafi
