The Special Court has rejected Ajola Xoxa’s request to postpone the proceedings after the birth of her child. To give Xoxa the opportunity to take part in the hearing, the Special Court against Corruption and Organized Crime also postponed today’s session, scheduling the next one for July 21 at 10:00.
The mayor’s wife requested the suspension of the judicial review for 63 days following the birth of the child.

Meanwhile, her lawyer, Gurali Brahimllari, argued that Xoxa is unable to review the contents of the case materials and communicate freely with her defense lawyers after giving birth by surgery.
