Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora Kreshnik Ahmeti met with a delegation from Bangladesh’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, led by Secretary Nazrul Islam.

The delegation is in Pristina ahead of the second round of political consultations between the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Bangladesh.
Ahmeti thanked Secretary Islam for Bangladesh’s continued support for the Republic of Kosovo and praised relations between the two countries.
The discussions covered bilateral relations and opportunities to further expand cooperation, particularly in the fields of economy, trade and information technology. The parties also exchanged views on recent political developments in Kosovo and Bangladesh.
The deputy minister confirmed Kosovo’s readiness to further advance relations with Bangladesh and increase cooperation in sectors of mutual interest.
