Ahmeti calls for Grubi’s return: If you have abused my trust, you must answer for it

BDI leader Ali Ahmeti said he had requested that Artan Grubi return to North Macedonia and face responsibility if he had abused Ahmeti’s trust. He emphasized that he seeks the establishment of genuine, non-selective justice, while expressing hope that Grubi would be released from house arrest and that the case would proceed.

“I was the person who insisted the most that Artan Grubi return to North Macedonia and face the proceedings. I told him clearly: if you have abused my trust, you must answer for it. He had sworn that he would work honestly and told me just one thing: ‘I have worked honestly,’” Ahmeti said.

The BDI leader said he had made this request publicly and had pressured the local authorities to ensure that Grubi appear and answer for his actions. “I do not want selective justice, but genuine justice. I think things are moving in the right direction. The first step is his release from house arrest; afterward, we will see how the procedure proceeds,” Ali Ahmeti declared.
