Former Deputy Prime Minister Arben Ahmetaj, who is on the run, has appeared publicly again in an interview on the “Çim Peka Live” program.

During the appearance, he attacked the Rama government and made accusations about the way the vetting process in the justice system has allegedly been distorted. Ahmetaj mentioned Belinda Balluku’s sister, Pamela Qiroko, and two other people.

“I would not include all prosecutors in the same group. I do not claim any particular elegance in my denunciations, but I made them based on numerous documents, citizens and administrators. There will be judges and prosecutors who will provide compelling evidence, because many developments are expected, and we will not allow everything to turn into the dominance of God. They will not treat it as an ordinary matter, but as a national mission.

The deformation of the vetting process began with the prime minister’s adviser, the sister of the plunderer, Belinda Balluku, and the daughter of an old friend of the head of the organization. I have provided an example. This is direct political and family nepotism.

I hope and trust in the United States and the EU member states. I also have faith in the Supreme Court and the Constitutional Court that they will restore constitutional order in the justice system. For them, I would remain in pre-trial detention for 36 months. My family would count the days of imprisonment, because that was what the head of the organization wanted.

Acts of genocide have been carried out against me. My family has been destroyed, while my assets and properties have been seized. I cannot hide the suffering my family has endured. These are and will be the deeds of the head of the organization and the plunderer, Erion Veliaj, as well as those of a former minister whom I will refrain from naming.
