Adriatik Kupi, Director General of Prisons, has convened the Disciplinary Commission to analyze the latest incident at Fier Prison.

Sources close to the institution say that the meeting will assess recommendations from Fier Prison, where the dismissal of six officers and the suspension of two others have been proposed.
In addition, an extra disciplinary measure lasting three months has been requested for the inmates involved in the brawl.
Meanwhile, the Fier Prosecutor’s Office has launched an investigation to clarify the circumstances of the conflict and determine whether the incident was a spur-of-the-moment fight or an organized or commissioned act.
As part of the investigation, Denis Bajri was also questioned. According to his statement, Gjini and Zoto called him over and then attacked him with improvised cutting weapons.
