Independent MP Marjana Koçeku, who left the Socialist Party several months ago and joined protests calling for Prime Minister Edi Rama to step down, has spoken about her lifestyle.

In an interview with Media60, Koçeku said that she currently rents homes in both Tirana and Shkodër, emphasizing that she does not aim to project an image of luxury.

Meanwhile, when reminded of her colleague Zegjine Çaushi, who had bought an expensive apartment, Koçeku avoided commenting, saying that “they will never see me buying an apartment or frequenting expensive places.”

Marjana Koçeku: I can speak for myself, and you will not see me buying an apartment or going to very expensive places because I have never been a fan of that lifestyle and I continue not to be. My goals and my lifestyle are completely different; they are inevitably connected to what I have done in the past, and I cannot escape who I am, regardless of where I belong or what path I choose to follow, whether political or not.
