Activist Andi Tepelena: A Great Hope Has Been Born, Citizens Have Risen Up to Drive Out the Regime! Youth and Diaspora Will Take the Country’s Future into Their Own Hands

Prominent activist Andi Tepelena, speaking from the podium at the protest held the previous day, said that citizens have risen up to drive out Edi Rama’s regime.

Tepelena stressed the importance of young people both inside and outside the country, as well as the significant support coming from the international community, specifically from Germany.

“For a month now, a great hope has been born. Citizens and young people have risen up to drive out this regime, to where we left it in 1991. These are the young people living here and in the diaspora, who can hardly wait to free themselves from this corrupt system and bring down this corrupt caste that is holding the country’s development hostage.

Albania is full of talent, with talented people in every field, and they are the ones who will take the country’s future into their own hands. Today, Germany stands alongside Albanians. For the second time, the German ambassador to Albania has reaffirmed the importance of protest as a democratic right,” Tepelena declared.
