The leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Lumir Abdixhiku, held a meeting with the new ambassador of the European Union to Kosovo, Dirk Schubel, during which they discussed the latest political situation in the country.

A statement from the Democratic League of Kosovo, published on Facebook, said that the constitutive session of the Assembly of Kosovo, scheduled for Wednesday, was also part of the discussions. The meeting also addressed the party’s positions on the process of establishing the institutions.
Abdixhiku said that the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo should be established as soon as possible so that the country can ensure institutional functioning and focus on its democratic, economic and European objectives.
The meeting also covered cooperation between Kosovo and the European Union, as well as the need to continue reforms and advance the European agenda of the Republic of Kosovo, the Democratic League of Kosovo said in its statement.
