Abdixhiku hails the success of the Albanians of the Presevo Valley: Two seats won, third still in the race

The chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Lumir Abdixhiku, has welcomed the preliminary result achieved by the Albanians of Presevo, Bujanoc and Medvegjë in the elections. According to the latest data, the Albanian Coalition has secured two seats, while the race for the third seat continues.

In a message published by the LDK, Abdixhiku described the result as an important step toward stronger political representation for the Albanians of the Valley.

“When Albanians unite, historic achievements become possible!” he declared.

Abdixhiku congratulated the citizens of the three municipalities, the candidates for parliament and the political entities that are part of the Albanian Coalition, underlining the importance of coordinating the Albanian political factor in the Valley.

According to the LDK leader, the result so far shows that political unity can bring more dignified representation and a stronger voice for the Albanians of this region.

“The unity of the Albanian factor in the Valley has always been our goal. We have worked toward it with the conviction that common interests are greater than party differences,” Abdixhiku wrote.

He stressed that the primary responsibility for this achievement belongs to the citizens who took part in the vote, as well as to the political representatives who found common ground to unite.

“This unity must continue in representation, in defending rights and in working for the future of Albanians in their native lands,” he emphasized.

In conclusion, Abdixhiku assured that the LDK would continue supporting the Albanians of the Valley and every initiative aimed at their political unification.

“The LDK will always stand by the Albanians of the Valley and support every effort that unites them and strengthens their voice,” Abdixhiku concluded.
