60th Protest Against the Government, Citizens Demand Rama’s Arrest and Criticize the Opposition

On the 60th day of anti-government protests, citizens marched along the Boulevard, demanding the resignation and arrest of Prime Minister Edi Rama.

Their chants were also directed against the opposition, which they described as “bought,” while their discontent encompassed the country’s entire political class.

According to the organizers, today’s protest marks 60 days since the rallies began and is no longer focused solely on a specific issue, but instead seeks a profound political transformation.

Participants are calling for a political “revolution” and want their representation to be entrusted to a new political class. They oppose both the government and the way the current political system operates.
