Police have arrested a 60-year-old man in Tirana on suspicion of threatening the head of Customs Investigations, who has Judicial Police powers, because of his official duties.

Sources said the man taken into custody is Adnan Rexha. He is under investigation for the criminal offense of “threatening an official because of their duties.”
The incident is suspected to have occurred on the premises of the Tirana Prosecutor’s Office, where the 60-year-old allegedly threatened the official who performs Judicial Police functions.
Investigations are continuing to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident and determine the reasons behind the confrontation.
