35th anniversary of the reopening of the Bektashi World Headquarters commemorated, Baba Mondi: A historic day! Living proof of revival, dedication and faith

The World Bektashi Headquarters hosted the Jubilee Conference “Tradition, faith, culture and a vision for the future” to mark the 35th anniversary of the reopening of the Bektashi World Headquarters.

In his speech, the World Bektashi Leader, Haxhi Baba Dede Edmond Brahimi, said that this day marks an important moment for the Bektashi community, as it coincides with three important anniversaries.

According to Baba Mondi, this year marks the 35th anniversary of the reopening of the World Headquarters, his 15th anniversary as its leader, and the 11th anniversary of the opening of the complex.

He described the anniversary not only as a historic day, but also as evidence of the continuity of the Bektashi community.

“This conference is being held on a special day, commemorating three important moments: the 35th anniversary of the reopening of the headquarters, the 15th anniversary of my leadership of the headquarters, and the 11th anniversary of the inauguration of the World Cultural Complex.

This day is not only a historic day, but living proof of a long journey of revival, dedication and faith, conveyed through the presentations and testimonies during the conference’s three sessions.

The history of the World Bektashi Headquarters is the history of an institution that has known how to preserve its spiritual identity, protect its heritage, and contribute to the cultural and social life of Albania and beyond,” Baba Mondi emphasized.
