On the 20th day of protests against the government, students and citizens gathered in front of the Ministry of Education and then continued marching through the streets of Tirana toward the Prime Minister’s Office.
The gatherings in recent days and the calls against Prime Minister Edi Rama have been accompanied by demands that now extend beyond education. Protesters are calling for the government’s resignation and the holding of early elections.

Students have repeatedly rejected the prime minister’s invitations to dialogue, stating that they will not sit down at the negotiating table until their political demands are met. Alongside them, citizens, lecturers and representatives of various social groups have also joined the protest.
