During an inspection of a pharmacy in Pristina, Kosovo Customs seized 209 packages of smuggled medicines.

The inspection was carried out on Thursday after the institution received information from citizens, according to a statement posted on Facebook.
Customs officials found a concealed, modified space inside the premises where the medicines had been stored.
Customs announced on Facebook that all the medicines discovered in the space had been seized and that the case would be handled in accordance with applicable legislation and relevant procedures. The institution also reaffirmed its commitment to combating smuggling and illegal trade, as well as protecting public health and the legitimate market.
