Zemaj: VV is playing games with the election of deputy speakers, LDK will not accept processes involving violations

LDK MP Armend Zemaj has said that the Assembly of Kosovo cannot be constituted until the election of the deputy speakers has been completed.

According to him, VV’s changing positions regarding the voting on the LDK and PDK deputy speakers constitute a political game.

Before the start of today’s session, Zemaj stressed that the LDK would not get involved in processes where violations are identified.

“These political games are damaging the state of Kosovo. VV has continually changed its positions, making calculations based on its votes and narrow interests. It is not acting to strengthen the institutions, but for its own benefit, and this is the greatest damage being inflicted on the country. We must have a constituted Assembly, which means that there can be no constitution of the Assembly without the election of the deputy speakers. We saw how they changed the practice for their election. This is the whole game that is being played. The election of the second and third deputy speakers cannot be bypassed in order to move on to the fourth or fifth. We will not enter into any scenario involving violations,” Zemaj said.
