Wiretaps/ Arben Ahmetaj: How Rama and Yefet devised a plan to evade surveillance by the US embassy

Last night, former Deputy Prime Minister Arben Ahmetaj continued his accusations regarding what he calls the “KAYO concept,” claiming that state assets in Albania are intended to be transferred through an organized structure.

Referring to another episode in the audio recording, Ahmetaj claimed that Ron Yefet himself explains how the structure would be established.

According to the former Deputy Prime Minister, the structure would also include a trust in the United States of America.

Ahmetaj claimed that the purpose of this mechanism would be to avoid objections from American diplomatic representatives.

“Now, the second episode explains the structure—Roni himself. He says: ‘There will be a state-owned company as a shield.’ And, in addition to abusing the criminal structure for diverting Albanians’ assets, he abuses Albanians’ respect for the United States. He says: ‘We will create a trust in America to silence the US embassy.’
