“Who do you think you are to throw eggs at me?”, activist clashes with Bido: You were appointed by a painter who got votes through crime

Socialist Party MP Ardit Bido became involved in a heated debate with activist Sidorela Vatnikaj on the program “Të Paekspozuarit” on MCN TV, over whether the will of the people is represented in Parliament.

The debate

Bido: Who do you think you are to have the right to throw eggs at me?

Vatnikaj: You do not represent us, you were appointed.

Bido: I do not want to represent you, you did not vote for me. But nobody knows you and you do not represent anyone.

Vatnikaj: You were appointed by a painter who got votes through crime, oligarchy and the media. That is what you represent.

Bido: I represent myself, and I do not have any skeletons in the closet.

Vatnikaj: Look at the police beating a subdued citizen. Beating protesters.

Bido: They did not form a security cordon for the MPs. Democracy was surrounded. Parliament must not be surrounded. Democracy serves the country, not nonsense.

Vatnikaj: Do not bring crime into parliament for us, or oligarchy, when you have privatized everything from us.

Bido: You call me an oligarch and put Redi Muçi at the head of the protest.

Vatnikaj: Is that what you will defend? That violence? Your police are in torn uniforms, your party and the police station chief.

Bido: You strike the police officer.

Vatnikaj: They come out without equipment because you steal the tenders. You lie and deceive, not a single police officer has been assaulted. When you break your friend’s nose, do not expect him to just stand there.

Bido: What about the stone that hits this man in the head? How do you defend that?

Bushati: I am for flames and not stones. They are the blind tools of the thieves who are robbing the citizens.

Bido: You are for anarchy. Say it.

Bushati: You are the ones who created the anarchy.
