“When I was little, I loved his songs” – Yll Limani remembers Shpat Kasapi during concert in Skopje

Last night was special for thousands of music fans in Skopje, where Yll Limani held his concert, delivering emotions and an unforgettable atmosphere for the audience.

The venue where the concert took place was packed with thousands of fans, who sang every lyric and melody of his songs in unison.

In addition to the energy and numerous hits performed throughout the evening, one of the most emotional moments was the special tribute Yll Limani made to singer Shpat Kasapi.

Yll paused his performance to express his appreciation for one of the most renowned names in Albanian music and the influence he had on his artistic journey.

“Shpat Kasapi is one of the most influential artists in Albanian music and one of those artists who shaped me,” Yll said emotionally before the audience.

“When I was little, I loved his songs very much, and there was not a single song of his that I did not know. I did not know him personally, but I met him two or three times at the airport and I was always stunned by the idea that I had met my childhood idol.”

Following these touching words, Yll Limani performed a song in honour of Shpat Kasapi. The moment was met with prolonged applause and ovations from the Skopje audience, stirring emotions among those present in memory of the late singer.
