The Kosovo Security Force and the Kosovo Police remain the institutions that enjoy the highest level of trust among citizens in the country.
According to the results of the 2026 WeBalkans Regional Survey, 87.4 percent of citizens said they trust the KSF, while 85.6 percent said they trust the Kosovo Police, placing these two institutions at the top of the list of the most trusted in the Republic of Kosovo.

Regarding this survey, the Kosovo Police expressed its welcome, describing it as a meaningful assessment of the commitment, professionalism, and unwavering dedication of police officers.
“Citizens’ trust is the foundation of police work and a direct indicator of the partnership between the Kosovo Police and the community. This trust is an encouragement for dedicated police work in fulfilling our constitutional and legal mission to protect the lives, property, and security of all citizens of the Republic of Kosovo,” the Kosovo Police said in a statement.
The survey also highlights that citizens continue to view security, the rule of law, and the fight against corruption as some of the main priorities for the country’s development.
