Water supply cut off in Berat, Kuçovë and surrounding villages due to fault in Bogovë pipeline

Since 1:00 p.m., the cities of Berat and Kuçovë, along with the surrounding villages, have been without drinking water due to damage to the main pipeline of the Bogovë Water Supply System.

The Berat-Kuçovë Water Supply and Sewerage Company announced that the fault in the main line occurred in the village of Kakruk. Technical teams are at the site and are working to repair the damage, with the aim of restoring the water supply to all affected areas.

Berat Municipality responded to the situation through an official announcement on its Facebook page, explaining the reasons for the technical interruption and stating that it is monitoring the progress of the work to restore the drinking water supply to normal.
