VLEN Claims Lead Among Albanians Based on Latest Poll

VLEN says the results of a recent poll rank it as the largest political force in the Albanian bloc.

According to the coalition, the poll conducted in June by the Stratum R&D Research Institute confirms that VLEN is the leading party among Albanians.

Asked which political party they would support if elections were held today, 34% of respondents chose VLEN, compared with 30% who selected DUI.

VLEN emphasized that this is the second poll in two months to put it ahead of DUI.

According to VLEN, the poll data clearly show that citizens are distinguishing between results-oriented politics and propaganda. The coalition believes that two years of tangible work have been enough to demonstrate that Albanians are no longer persuaded by empty rhetoric and that support is secured through actions, not words.

VLEN lists as achievements the Law on Fair and Adequate Representation, the Law on Games of Chance, the Law on the Madrasa, the Law on Jurisprudence and the Law on Higher Education; more than 40 professional examinations in the Albanian language; a “One Stop Shop” at border crossings with Kosovo and Albania; 306 projects for Albanian municipalities; more than 2,500 new businesses; thousands of jobs and promotions; the start of construction on the “Mother Teresa” University Campus; a €20 million investment in the third phase of “Skanderbeg” Square; the €74 million reconstruction of Tetovo Hospital; the construction of the Skopje–Blace highway and Corridor 8; and increases in wages and pensions.
