Video/ Two dead after Lamborghini crashes at 200 km/h on a Paris motorway, car bursts into flames

A serious accident on the A3 motorway in the Saint-Denis area of Paris left two people dead and four injured. A Lamborghini Aventador and another vehicle were involved in the fatal collision, while the exact causes of the incident have yet to be determined.

The crash occurred on the morning of Saturday, September 5. A 63-year-old father and his 27-year-old son were inside the Lamborghini, having rented the sports car for a trip.

Preliminary information indicates that the luxury vehicle may have been travelling at speeds of up to 200 km/h. After colliding with the other car, which was carrying four people, the latter overturned on the motorway and its passengers were injured.

The force of the impact split the Lamborghini in two, after which the vehicle caught fire. As a result, the two people inside lost their lives.

The father, who was driving the car, was thrown from it by the powerful impact and died at the scene. His son, who was sitting in the passenger seat, was trapped in the cabin and died in the flames.

The prosecutor’s office handling the investigation has not disclosed the Lamborghini’s exact speed, but confirmed that the car was travelling “above” the permitted speed limit.

Videos posted on social media show the first scenes after the accident. The green Lamborghini Aventador is seen destroyed and engulfed in flames, while black smoke rises above the motorway.

After the fire was extinguished, only a heap of twisted metal remained of the luxury car.
