VIDEO/ Nadir Çausholli involved in physical altercation with Mirton Lika in the former Blloku area

Businessman Nadir Çausholli, owner of the pharmaceutical company “CFO Pharma,” the “Green Line” bus line, and “Green Taxi,” was involved in a physical altercation at midday on Monday, July 6, 2026, in the former Blloku area of Tirana with businessman Mirton Lika.

In footage published by JOQ, Çausholli is seen arguing and physically clashing with Mirton Lika, one of the co-owners of “Sky Tower” in Tirana and Sri Lanka’s Consul in Albania.

At first, the businessman appears raising his hands, seemingly to calm the situation, but moments later the conflict escalates and he attempts to kick the other person. Several people intervene at the scene, trying to prevent the clash from escalating further.

According to Albeu.com sources, the motive behind the conflict was an attempt to install an electric vehicle charging device belonging to Çausholli’s company, Green Taxi, in the area near Mirton Lika’s business.

According to preliminary information, Mirton Lika has filed a criminal complaint against Nadir Çausholli for the alleged criminal offenses of “threats” and “destruction of property.” The footage also appears to show the businessman’s companions intervening to remove him from the area, taking him out of the premises, while the situation remains tense for several moments.

The complaint states that Lika asked the workers for information on whether they had permission to install the device, because according to him the issue was linked to an open proceeding at the Tirana Prosecutor’s Office. He said that a previous charging device in the same area had been seized and deemed illegal by the competent authorities.

According to the complaint, the workers did not present the necessary documentation and then notified the police. A State Police patrol arrived first at the scene and, according to the complaint, carried out preliminary checks and informed the Municipal Police, since the matter concerned the suspension of the works and the relevant documentation.

The complaint also describes the sequence of the incident, according to which, while businessman Lika was waiting for the Municipal Police to arrive, Nadir Çausholli approached him in a threatening manner and called on him to come near him. When Lika approached, the people accompanying Çausholli intervened in the conflict, while the latter kicked a chair, which flew in the direction of the complainant. Lika says he managed to avoid being hit, while Çausholli continued insulting and cursing at him.

Lika has asked the State Police to take measures and hold the person involved in the incident accountable, stating that he feels threatened not only personally and for his family, but also regarding the image of the businesses “Sky Hotel” and “Sky Tower.”

Çausholli’s name has also been mentioned previously in connection with matters related to the healthcare sector and the company “CFO Pharma.” A few months ago, the Tirana Prosecutor’s Office imposed security measures on several company employees suspected of involvement in a fraud scheme involving drug reimbursement.

According to preliminary investigation data, the economic damage was initially estimated at around 700,000 euros. Later, the Health Care Insurance Fund reported that the suspected financial damage could exceed 2.3 million euros. Investigations into this case are ongoing.

Meanwhile, “Green Line,” the company linked to Çausholli, has often been mentioned in public complaints and media reports about urban bus accidents in the capital. So far, there has been no public reaction from Çausholli regarding the incident that occurred in the former Blloku area.
