At an electoral rally, Trump described Paxton as “the greatest attorney general” Texas has ever had. He then commented on the candidate’s appearance, speech, and style of dress.
“Some may not like the way he dresses,” Trump said, while noting that that evening Paxton had looked very good, dressed in a blue suit.
Continuing with humorous notes, the American president said that some voters might not like the way Paxton speaks either. According to him, the candidate “might not dress properly, might not speak in a perfectly perfect manner, and might not be the most handsome guy” they have ever seen.
Despite these comments, Trump left no ambiguity about his stance on Paxton’s candidacy. “He deserves to be your next senator,” he declared.
Ken Paxton is a Republican, holds the post of Texas attorney general, and aims to represent the state in the US Senate after the upcoming elections.
