A tragic incident took place in the Benevento area of Italy, where a man shot and killed his two brothers before taking his own life.

The crime occurred at a restaurant-hotel in Apice, in the province of Benevento, late Tuesday morning, September 1. At that time, the establishment had not yet begun serving lunch, media outlets reported.
According to initial information from the authorities, one of the three brothers opened fire on the other two and then shot himself.
Immediately after the incident, Carabinieri officers and emergency teams arrived at the restaurant, where they were confronted with the tragic consequences of the act.
The restaurant was jointly owned and managed by the three brothers, who ran the family business.
Meanwhile, authorities have launched an investigation to determine the motives and the exact circumstances of the incident.
