Trade Union Confederation protests outside the Ministry of Finance and presents its 5 main demands

This Tuesday, the Trade Union Confederation held a protest outside the Ministry of Finance, as a continuation of the protest actions that have been taking place outside the Prime Minister’s Office for the past 24 days.

During the gathering, union representatives and protesters voiced their concerns about working conditions, wage levels, as well as the departure of professionals from the country. They called for concrete measures from institutions to improve the situation of workers in various sectors.

In the speeches delivered during the protest, they emphasized five demands that, according to them, should be treated as a priority by government policies.

The demands of the Trade Union Confederation are: more investment in public services; fair wages and dignified working conditions; protection of jobs and trade union rights; stopping the departure of professionals from the country; a fair digital transition that respects workers’ rights.
