Toshkovski: The perpetrators of the murder in Çair have been identified, one of them is in prison

Minister of Internal Affairs, Pançe Toshkovski, stated in an interview for Kanal 5 that authorities are working intensively to solve the murder of the 26-year-old, which happened last night in Çair. He said that the Ministry of Internal Affairs has initial data on the suspects and that one of them is currently serving a prison sentence.

According to Toshkovski, investigators have gathered sufficient evidence regarding the identity of the perpetrators. The minister expressed hope that they will be caught as soon as possible and face criminal prosecution.

“At this moment, I would not be able to officially identify the motives. I can only emphasize that intensive work is being done on the criminal case in question. The Ministry of Internal Affairs has initial information about the perpetrators. It has also secured appropriate evidence regarding who the perpetrators are, so I hope we will secure them as soon as possible and they will be subjected to criminal prosecution, as, let’s say, many have been in the past period, while they have committed a large number of crimes in recent years,” Toshkovski said about the serious incident in Çair.

The victim, a 26-year-old, was shot by two people on a motorcycle.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs announcement, the case was reported to the Skopje Police Department around 11:30 p.m. last night. Present near the intersection of “Prohor Pcinski” and “Vojdan Chernodrinski” streets in Skopje were D.G. (29), A.Dz. (24), K.B. (36), E.B. (25) and A.M. (26), all from Skopje, who were standing in front of a company’s window.

At that moment, a motorcycle with two people stopped near them, who opened fire on the group and then fled. A bullet struck A.M., who was transported by ambulance to the “Mother Teresa” Clinical Complex in Skopje, but died. Police are continuing measures to document and fully clarify the case./Telegrafi/
