Three Suspects Remanded in Custody Over Water Contamination in Gostivar

Three people suspected in connection with water contamination in Gostivar have been remanded in custody following a request by the Gostivar Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office.

Criminal judge Dragosllava Veselinova of the Gostivar Basic Court announced that the prosecution’s motions to impose this measure had been approved for Artana Asani, acting director of the public enterprise “Komunalec” – Gostivar; technical manager Leon Nuredini; and Vadedin Dauti, head of the Water Supply, Sewerage and Construction Department.

All three are charged with the criminal offense of “Serious offenses against the environment and nature caused by actions resulting in the contamination of drinking water.” /Telegrafi/
