Three injured after a car overturns on the “Friendship” highway in Macedonia

Three people were injured in a traffic accident that occurred on 29.06.2026, at around 05:30, on the “Friendship” highway, on the service road connecting it to Skopje International Airport, after a “Nissan” car with Serbian national license plates went out of control, crashed into a metal barrier and then overturned.

As reported by the Skopje Internal Affairs Department, the vehicle was driven by N.Gj. (33) from Serbia. As a result of the accident, he and passenger A.Gj. (26), also from Serbia, sustained serious bodily injuries, while their two-year-old child suffered bodily injuries.

According to the information, the injuries were confirmed at the “Mother Teresa” Clinics Complex in Skopje. A public prosecutor and the investigative team from the Skopje Internal Affairs Department carried out an inspection at the scene.
