Thousands of Holidaymakers Stranded in Traffic at Rana e Hedhun, Vehicle Queue Stretches to Lezhë-Milot

The August weekend has brought real traffic chaos to the Shëngjin coast, where thousands of holidaymakers and tourists have been stranded in their vehicles for hours.

The mass exodus from the beaches, concentrated especially in the Rana e Hedhun area, has brought traffic to a standstill and created queues stretching for kilometers along the connecting road.

The situation is particularly serious for families, as young children are among those trapped in vehicles amid the high temperatures. According to accounts from citizens at the scene, the vehicles have barely moved at all for more than two hours.

The long lines of cars stretch for kilometers, from the Rana e Hedhun area to the main Lezhë-Milot road, while movement toward the exit junctions remains almost impossible.
