Skanderbeg Square in Pristina was filled tonight with thousands of citizens who gathered to express their support for former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army.

The gathering is expected to begin shortly. A large number of participants have already arrived in the square.
The protest is being organized against the verdict of the Specialist Chambers in The Hague, through which the former KLA leaders were sentenced to a total of 81 years in prison.
Organizers and participants are expected to deliver speeches during the gathering.
Protests against the decision were also held today in Skopje. Similar rallies have also taken place in Melbourne, Australia, Oslo, Norway, Geneva, Switzerland, and other cities around the world.
Earlier in the day, Kosovo fans also protested in Pristina, opposing the decision of the Specialist Chambers against four former KLA leaders.
