The Fight Lasted Just 6 Minutes; Cameras Reveal the Sequence of the Portuguese Tourist’s Killing at “Principotes

Just six minutes were enough for the fight that took place a few days ago in Ksamil to end with the death of Portuguese tourist Luis Miguel Varela Mendez.

The incident was recorded by security cameras, which documented the movements and confrontation from 05:14 to 05:20:28. At the end of this period, Sokrat Vata leaves toward the “Principotes” venue, accompanied by the business’s waiter.

According to the camera footage, at 05:14:24 on 18.08.2026, several people emerge from the “Principodes” venue and stop near the entrance to the outdoor area of the “Paradise” establishment. Among them are identified Ibrahim Lemoie, Sudae Akmahmat, Florian Cetina and Luis Mendes, who was wearing a white T-shirt with black writing on the back.

About a minute later, at 05:15:22, Davit Heuertvent and Sokrat Lipan (Vata) approach from the southern side of the “Principotes” parking area. The latter is wearing a white shirt. They head toward the group where the foreign nationals are located.

At 05:16:39, Sokrat Lipan (Vata) is seen pushing another person wearing a white shirt. After the confrontation, he walks away toward the sun loungers.

Seven seconds later, at 05:16:47, Sokrat Lipan follows one of the people dressed in white, and together they head toward the parking area.

At 05:16:54, Sokrat Lipan (Vata) runs back toward Ibrahim Lemoie. The latter collides with the sun loungers and falls to the ground, while Sokrat strikes him.

At 05:17:14, Luis Mendes intervenes, using his body to push Sokrat Lipan and knock him down. After getting up, Sokrat Lipan (Vata) approaches Luis Mendes and begins hitting him.

At 05:17:20, Davit Heuertvent, dressed in shorts and a dark-colored shirt, along with Sokrat Lipan (Vata), strikes Luis Mendes. At that moment, Sudae Akhmat also approaches, attempting to help his friend Luis Mendes, and strikes Sokrat Lipan.

During the interval from 05:17:35 to 05:17:46, Serxhi Selimi punches French national Ibrahim Lemoie. Meanwhile, in an attempt to escape blows from Sokrat Lipan and David Heurtevent, Luis Mendes quickly moves away and enters the sea.

At 05:17:53, Luis Mendes emerges in the southern part of the beach, near where the waiters are located. There, he is punched by Serxhi Ademi and pushed toward the sea.

Just 11 seconds later, at 05:18:04, Luis Mendes emerges from the water and walks toward the sun loungers at “Paradise” beach. The footage shows that his white T-shirt is covered in blood.

At 05:18:24, David Heuertvent is seen leaving toward the indoor premises of “Principotes”. He appears to have blood on the front of his clothes and is wiping it away.

At 05:20:28, Sokrat Lipan, alias Vata, leaves wearing a bloodstained white shirt. Behind him walks waiter Igli Cekani, who accompanies him toward the “Principotes” venue.
