The body of Lirim Ruhani is found in Lake Batlava, Police say necessary procedures are continuing

Kosovo Police announced that the person who had been reported missing in Lake Batlava was found today without signs of life, on the second day of the search-and-rescue operation.

According to the police announcement, the case was reported yesterday at around 13:00, after information was received that a person had entered the waters of Lake Batlava and was then no longer seen coming out.

Police stressed that immediately after receiving the information, all relevant police units were mobilized, together with other search-and-rescue units, with the aim of finding the person.

Today, after the engagement of the search-and-rescue teams, the person was pulled from the water, while the medical team at the scene confirmed that he showed no signs of life.

Regarding the case, the Kosovo Police spokesperson for the capital, Enis Pllana, stated that, in coordination with the state prosecutor, the necessary procedural and investigative actions are being carried out.
